Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Key Features
The new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra offers top-of-the-range features and some of these features are first in Galaxy S series. The S21 Ultra features 1440p+ resolution while the other two S21 models dropped to 1080p+.
But while the two lower-end models have three lenses – ultra-wide, wide, and 3x-zoom telephoto – the S21 Ultra adds a further 10x-zoom telephoto lens, letting owners shoot action from even further away. Below are the main features of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra you should know:
The amazing pro-grade camera
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra offers a quadruple rear camera that features laser autofocus that lets you capture your subject quickly and more accurately. Also, the ultra-wide-angle lens doubles as a macro lens when you come in close, so you can capture every little detail without blurriness.
With a 40MP front camera, you’ll be able to take stunning selfies. Simply put, Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is designed with a unique contour-cut camera to create a revolution in photography. It offers the highest resolution possible on a smartphone!
Brilliant, uninterrupted viewing
Galaxy S21 Ultra is the first display that’s able to run at 120Hz refresh rate while rendering at the full 1440p+ resolution. Treat your eyes with its Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that keeps everything looking brilliant and smooth.
The 6.8″ Infinity-O Display lets you see movies in stunning colour – just as the director intended. Also, it allows you to play games or watch your favourite films even in bright sunlight.
Revolutionary bold design
Galaxy S21 Ultra was designed to look (and stay) pristine as it features the toughest Gorilla® Glass Victus for protection and peace of mind. It features iconic metal contours, a sleek new shape, and stylish shades.
The contour-cut metal camera fuses beautifully with the device, and Samsung’s new premium frosted haze effect and metal frame look and feel amazing, making smudges and fingerprints a thing of the past. It’s designed to make a bold statement!
S Pen compatibility
The other major change is that the S21 Ultra supports the S Pen. You can get a big, comfy one or a small, easy to pocket one. However, unlike the Note series, there’s no place to stash the stylus on S21 Ultra.
The S Pen compatibility means you can finesse and fine-tune while editing your videos down to the last frame, with a precision that your finger simply can’t touch. However, this is a non-battery version of the stylus and doesn’t support Bluetooth functionalities.
Power, peace of mind, durable
With vault-like security and a binge-worthy battery, S21 Ultra 5G has your back no matter what. You can easily and securely stream, share, and create your content. The large sensor, smarter AI, and 5nm processor put next-generation, vault-like security in your hands.
From faster fingerprint authentication to next-level privacy controls, there’s nothing holding you back. Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is durable too. Featuring IP683 water and dust resistance, it’s fit for almost any environment.
The missing features of Galaxy S21 Ultra
As great as this powerful Samsung smartphone is, there are certain common features of the previous models that are missing in the new S21 Ultra. First of all, Samsung has officially dropped the maximum wired charging speed to 25W (that’s fast enough for a 50% charge in 30 minutes).
Also, the new S21 Ultra doesn’t come with a charger in the box. However, the good news is that you can charge it with wireless chargers or any USB Power Delivery charger you have (PPS is supported).
Furthermore, Samsung has also abandoned a slot for a microSD memory card just like it did with Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+. The lack of removable storage means that users can’t expand the memory limit of the smartphone. Also, it means what you buy is what you’re stuck with – 128GB with 12GB RAM, 256GB with 12GB RAM, and 512GB with 16GB RAM.
Another missing feature you will notice is the lack of headphones or an audio jack. However, the Galaxy Buds Pro makes every day sounds more epic, syncing so easily it’s like they’re an extension of Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G. One tap and you’re hearing clear, defined audio.20.
